She is a ray of sunshine, sometimes a force to be reckoned with, and always on-the-ready to be where the fun and action is. She loves eating right at the table, she LOVES the dog, and she loves her brothers -- in that order, say her brothers. The best part of her day is when Dad walks through the door, which is so stereotypical, but it is true! She says only a handful of words, but is extremely communicative -- you never have to wonder what she is thinking. She's always ready for a cheesy smile. She insists on her pacifier (which she calls num num) most of the day, she says no for yes -- but it's easy to tell when her no means firmly NO! -- but she goes to her nap and bed like a dream (so much of an improvement from her first year of life). She brightens our family and makes the days cheerfully pass by.

Here's a great memory shot -- this is Thanksgiving -- one of the first times that Patty was having great success with Claire -- they definitely bonded over turkey and stuffing. Was a great day.
One more anecdote: She is NOT terribly generous with kisses -- they are few and far between, which made it even sweeter this morning -- she was playing in the family room and I was lying on the couch reading and she came up, took her pacifier out and gave me a wet one on the cheek. What a girl. What a family. I love them all so much.
