So I have been dealing with homesickness this week and have been having a rough go of it. Early this week, I had a couple nights where I made dinner, set the table, and then as soon as Cort came home, I went to bed. Sad admission, yes, I know, and a bit of a bummer to put on the blog, however... it's real. But the kids have been good to me, and Cort's been very patient, and my mom and dad have been calling, and making sure I'm doing ok, which I'm very grateful for. All the positivity has buoyed my spirits, and I'm doing better. I even started doing a little decorating (very little) which has helped me like my house, and Cort finished putting in a new toilet in our bathroom, so things are looking up. About mid week, the boys came into my room with a special presentation, just see:
Also the boys went camping with Dad last weekend, and I'm glad they had a great time.

I would give anything to be wearing a fleece right now! Camping in August--oh how I miss that.
Those boys are the BEST! Where ever did you get them?
Sorry you are feeling down. That transition to real life is so wierd (I did not like it either 3 years ago - depression yuck-o-la!). I hope you cheer up soon.
love you
