School begins

Ethan's new school began this morning -- THIRD grade. Wow. I can't believe we have a kid who's in third grade. Crazy. His classroom is literally a 5 minute walk from our front door, so we're very hopeful about this year.

Elliot is starting a year in kindergarten homeschooling, and the following is a preview as to what he will be learning this year:

And Claire will be continuing her rigorous educational pursuits as always:

But seriously, if any of you have great tips on what to do with the children left behind -- any fun projects, please help!

(this was when we got home from the first day of school)

Can I just tell you how much I love the Johnson's? Your kids are so awesome. They are all so darling and hilarious and super smart. I hope that Kelly and I can figure things out like you guys have. We miss you.

it's bitter sweet when the olders go to school - we went from four at home all the time to now just Megan - yikes! My advice they both need something to call their own - music class, gymnastics, swimming at the Y - something they can look forward to and drive you crazy asking is today the day for music class mom????? Something they can tell Ethan all about when he gets home!

We love Claire's binker - it seems like a world ago that we were wheening Megan off of hers but it was just last summer!

You're such a great mom, Corey!
