the cutie pies

Here's a picture of the boys all dressed up after their children's church program. They both did so well. Elliot started the entire meeting by saying, "I am a child of God and He has a plan for me." And Ethan gave a great talk about his baptism where he quoted Kipling's "If." They were both great during singing time, and were minimally disruptful -- except after Ethan gave his talk, he walked past Elliot, and Elliot hopped up, and made him give him a high five and the secret brother handshake before returning to his seat. Oh well! Another 5 year old girl gave a terrific talk about being thankful for being adopted to her wonderful family, and cried all the way through it. We were all choking up, to think that this little girl was getting emotional about her wonderful family life. Turns out: she just really really had to go to the bathroom, and was upset they wouldn't let her go before she had to give her talk.
