what a difference a summer makes

Cort is such a good best friend. He worked so hard on this project and pretty much hated doing it, but he worked on it every night, and did a fabulous job. It was definitely a joint effort, but his knowhow and attention to detail was impressive. My stubborn will to get it done was helpful too. Also, check out the pictures with the little bookshelf and the shelf above the window -- I did those! I am obviously very proud of us. Anyway, it is all done, clean, & beautiful!! Best birthday gift ever!!

NEW HALF WALL!

Isn't it fabulous?!

Wow! I am super impressed. That really was a very strange wall. It definitely needed halved. Love your shelf too. It is such a great feeling to make something yourself, and finish such a big project. You both did awesome!

Looks great! I am amazed. Who knew you two had such hidden talents? Or is it just the grapefruit juice that is fueling your magical house transformations??

Oh, and hooray for great dads. I don't know how women do it that don't have husbands to pick up some slack when the days with kids get really long. It is nice to share the load sometimes (name that movie - wow, I have been married to Clarke for a long time if I am now quoting that movie in my daily life) :)
