new project completed

Can you guess what my new project is? It could be this:

ogling over this cutest of babies or this:

the sisters bonding or this:

the kids in swimming lessons (and my amazing feat of getting them there on time every weekday) or this:

the boys making contact with extraterrestrialsJust kidding -- that's just the boys lighting a California Candle (legal in NM) -- hey, maybe the project is Cort teaching them to light and handle dangerous fireworks!

Nope, wrong again! Here it is: I figured that since Charlotte was all grown up to 10 days old, it was time to tackle the kitchen project we've been meaning to take on. So two weeks later, we're quite pleased with the finished result.

AFTER:

What do you think?

The cabinet color is "Blue Smoke" but it looks white most of the time, but looks really good with the countertop which is the same old white formica, and the soffets and wall are now painted "Chambray" which is two shades darker than the cabinet.

Wow, Corey, you are amazing. I pretty much gave up projects when Joseph learned to walk... 2 years ago. It looks GREAT. Did you have to strip and sand them and then paint? Can you come do my house next?

Wow! I am super impressed. That looks great. I guess I need to invest in some grapefruit drug... :) But I doubt it could get me to even mop my kitchen floor with a 10 day old baby.

I think it was more homey the old way. Like a family who had a lot of kids lived there.

Amazing, Corey! The difference is as incredible as your determination to get it done. Then again, you did have one extra kid to help you. Smart you waited until Charlotte could lend a hand.
