my new energy drink

Ok, this stuff is incredible. It's not cheap, but it's 100% grapefruit juice -- which is a LOT of grapefruits for your dollar if you think about it!! I read about a recommendation of it in Real Simple magazine, and last week it was on sale, so I thought I'd try it. Some of you have asked me where I got the energy to work on this kitchen project -- which included removing all the doors, emptying all my cabinets, then cleaning, degreasing them, then on to sanding, priming and painting the inside and outside of the cabinets, then taking the cabinet doors to the garage and doing the same to them. I also put down new cabinet liner and organized all the food and dishes and stuff like that I didn't even do when we moved in. Last week, my excitement about finishing this project started to wane, but every morning, I'd have a small glass of this delicious juice (probably equal to 2 or 3 grapefruits' worth of juice) in lieu of a more nutritious breakfast and no kidding, it was like a shot of adrenaline. Great stuff! I enjoy eating a grapefruit every once in a while, but please note: grapefruits are not my favorite! It was more about the end result than the amazing taste. BTW, I am not getting paid for endorsing this product. But if you want some energy and this week, you're off caffeine or illegal drugs, Simply Grapefruit will do the trick!

I will have to try that stuff. Does it induce labor also? Because then it really would be magic.

I just read your kitchen post - awesome! It looks so good. I cannot believe you did that with a tiny baby. I can barely figure out how to shower with a 10 day old. You're amazing. Can you write a Sacrament talk about how you manage it all and send it to me for serious study and emulation?

I'm not a big fan of grapefruits but I could definitely use the energy. I'll have to try it.

Hmm...I ASSumed that Cort did the whole kitchen project himself. Just joking!!:) It looks great. It's amazing what a bit of paint can do isn't it? BTW, can you CC that Sacrament talk to me too? You're the best!!

Yes I want to read THAT Sacrament talk too! You are amazing Corey! Also I agree 100% about the grapefruit! Funny - I was thinking how I always had SO much energy during high school when the fruit from the fruit sale would arrive -- I would juice grapefruits every morning!

Corey claims to have found a new magic potion. Of course, anyone who knows her at all realizes that there is no other force at work here other than pure Corey power. Our only option is to stand back and watch her handiwork in amazement. I never have a chance at keeping up with her unmatched talents and work ethic, but do enjoy mooching off her beautiful finished products.

No can do!! I love grapefruit in any form. But, alas, it neutralizes my meds, so . . . no can do!! Sorry, sis!!!
