life with jakson

Ode to Kim, wherever I may find her:
Dear sister, thank you so much for the joys
of giving arts, crafts project for THREE boys
the patience they showed,
the care they bestowed,
On a fun mess that matched only their noise.

Just kidding, Kim! Thank you so much for giving us something to do!! :) It was surprisingly fun and of course, a bit daunting for a control freak like me to allow the boys (aged 9, 8, and 4) to pour multi-colored sand into tiny containers with an opening the size of a single grain of sand. The kids had a lot of fun, and did a great job, but the most exciting part was the shake up that came later (that I was four-square against, but of course, majority rules). Here's the shaking (and please notice, I full-on call Ethan by his brother's name,... and the worst part is, he's so used to it, he responded!!)

The boys wish to post a blog but are too busy playing football out back, and apparently, my playlist is getting old, so they will update later as well. They have assigned all the adults in our family with new Pokemon characters and persona -- and they're hilarious, so that will be the bulk of the post, I think. We shall see!

PS. A public congrats to Steven and Cristie!! Woo-hoo!
