these silly girls!
So, I've been lazy with posting pictures these days, so here's a bunch over the last couple of months.

Love that baby girl

loves to suck her thumb (looks like she's gouging her eye out, I know)

in August we went for a quick trip to Montana -- this is at the Gallatin

where Baby Charlotte met Great Aunt Charlotte

Claire: "Charlottes, may I join you?"

Now everyone wants in! My niece is also in the picture -- what a cutie!

the view outside my uncle and aunt's house is incredible -- can kind of see it here

aw

my dad and me and the girls

getting R&R

in Bozeman, kids and I got to meet Cort's uncle Del, who had a real life bull whip, which Elliot (Indiana Jones mega-fan) absolutely loved. At first, Elliot thought Del was giving him the whip, but quickly recovered when Del cracked the whip "just like Indy!"

Back in Billings, Aunt Joanie got a new Boston terrier named... Beanie (get it? Boston Baked Beans?) The kids adore the puppy.

Tales of a Fourth Grade Hero!

Ethan's first day

Elliot's first day of Kindergarten (a few days after Ethan started school)

he was so excited

love that last look he gives, quick wave, and there he goes!

Claire as task master, helping Elliot stay focused on his homework
"Now, then you carry the two..."

"Now you try by yourself."

"Good job, Elliot! Now you can go play!" (This is the only real quote she said. The rest I was improvising for comedic effect)

bros at Elliot's birthday

My friend was working on Claire's horsie skills for Charlotte

Claire can fit into the cabinet! Cort and I made these shelves for either side of the fireplace, and I put some cabinets in there that we already had. What is it with little girls trying to fit into the tiniest of places??

first time they walked to school by themselves -- such big boys

Day Two after Claire's shiner last weekend

Cort took this one on Day 4, she needs her mouth wiped from dessert, but adds a sort of ghoulish effect -- cool!

Isn't affecting her spirits

Charlotte -- loves rolling around and seeing what's going on

It's supposed to help her fall asleep, but she just loves sitting up and watching it

girls watching a little PBS kids this morning

Elliot's school picture -- what a handsome boy! (and it must be said, I forgot that it was picture day, so my boys are au natural -- Calvin Klein Kids better be calling me about my children soon)

eating a watermelon from our garden!!! Yep, that's right. Read it and weep, fellow gardeners

and she loves it

... but then again, she's also affectionate with these paper towels, so she's not that good a judge

Gearing up for the last Isotopes game of the season! Go 'Topes!

Elliot and his BFF

see, I promised you a rainbow

Great kids, great pix. Claire did look a little "gothic" but it doesn't hide the cuteness. Gramma Z
Great pictures!
Charlotte is growing so fast :)
Love your comedic journaling... I seriously can hear your voice when I read it. :)
Maybe that is only bc I have heard your voice recently on the videos?
Thanks for all the pictures - love them!
Thanks Corey, we needed a Johnson update.
