ok ok ok!

Alright already. After massive amounts of pressure -- from family and friends -- you know who you are -- we're joining the 21st century and starting a blog. Ok, I'm starting it, but the children are getting excited to have their pictures posted, and Cort has promised to support me in my efforts.

I will try to post the kids greatest sayings, but no promises to capture them all as they are far too frequent and I am much too much of a slacker to jot them down. Here's the latest:














Ethan -- almost 8 --
(after he was supposed to be vacuuming in his room, and all I hear is a loud bang)
Mom: Ethan, you break it, you buy it!
Ethan: Well, how much does a broken vacuum cost these days?



Elliot -- 4 1/2 --

(all of us, playing around on the floor)
Mom (resting, lay my head on his belly): I love my Elliot, my own personal pillow.
Elliot: I'm not a pillow. I'm a talking pillow.




Claire -- 16 months --
(anything happens)
Claire: Hallelujah.
Not kidding... Ask Cristie.
Now she knows lots of signs, and can say the basics, but still our favorite is Hallelujah.

Will also be posting minute by minute decisions about where we are going next year, as to avoid the awkward and lengthy trouble of speaking to anyone... So excited to start blogging!
